The enclosed premises offer ample space for children to play and a swimming pool. Breakfast includes a choice of either a continental or farmhouse option, and additional meals are available on request. Self-catering units can be provided with shared kitchen facilities. There are indoor and outdoor braai facilities. WiFi is available to guests. Long term tenants are also welcome. |

Surrounded by mountains, Beaverlac offers a meditative space for travellers seeking a true outdoor experience. The area hosts several wildlife species ( rhebok, caracal, wild cat and shy leopard ) which can often be spotted and the river channels its way through rock formations into pools and waterfalls. Those who don't want to camp can book one of the timber or stone cottages. A tuck shop on the premises provides basics, but remember that the drive to and from the campsite is only suitable for 2x 4 vehiclels. |

Berghoff Berghoff offers four self-catering chalets ( Erica, Disa, Barbi and Klipspringer ) situated on a commercial protea farm in the picturesque Olifantsriver Mountains. The chalets are fully equipped with built-in braai facilities on the stoep and fireplaces for chilly winter evenings. Each chalet has its own unique natural setting with ample opportunity for short walks. Drinking water comes from a borehole delivering pure, untained mountain spring water, perfectly safe to drink. All chalets are pet friendly. The dam on Berghoff is suited for swimming and boating- a rowing boat, - canoes and a windsurfer are available. |
Elephant Cottage
Elephant Cottage offers comfortable and cozy accommodation for 6 people in 3 bedrooms. The house was recently lovingly restored with attention to detail. Wooden floors throughout most of the house with beautiful Moroccan inspired tiles in the bathroom and scullery. House has a large kitchen kagel (fire place) which is great for crackling fires on cold winter days and as a braai place, lots of space to sit around the table in the kitchen and play cards or relax with a glass of wine. Separate scullery with a double sink and beautiful mosaic splash back and then walk in pantry.

Isabellas A tastefully furnished, granny flat with secure parking named for its owner. One double room with en-suite facalities, air conditioning and linen provided- ideal for couples. Isabella's is situated within walking distance from the town centre, but located in a quiet suburban setting with a view of the surrounding mountains. Tea and coffee is provided. Small children can be accommodated. Braai facalities are also available. |
Lekker Water Lekker Water offers three bedroom and 1.5 bathrooms. There is a family unit available which sleeps four. There is horse riding available at an additional cost. On this farm you can take long walks in the mountains and just enjoy the nature. Tea and coffee is provided. The house is tastefully furnished and supplied with bed linen. The house can sleep ten people. Small children can be accommodated and braai facilities is also available. |
Mayor’s Manor A renovated, historical Victorian farm cottage dating to 1898 and originally owned by the town's first mayor. This self-catering facility can accommodate eight people in three double rooms and one single room. One double room has en suite facalities,whilst the rest share facilities. Communal areas include a lounge with TV and DVD player, kitchen, braai area and splash pool. Meals are available on request and is served in the kitchen. Situated in a quiet area, ideal for relaxing. |

Pampoenfontein Nomadic herders crossing the Cedarberg mountain range, several hundred years ago, would drop pumpkin seeds at the spring (fontein) where they stopped for water. In this manner, pumpkins would grow around the fountain and henceforth the area acquired the name Pampoen Fontein. Our farm has four fully equipped cottages for hire. All are tastefully furnished and supplied with hand-embroidered bed linen, towels, wood, coffee, tea and soap. Each has an indoor fireplace for winter (it snows on the farm from time to time!) and an outside braai area. All you need take is your food and drink. |
The Stable The Stable is a beautiful old building that was once used as stabling for oxen and horses in the early 1900’s. From the moment you arrive at this romantic self-catering, heritage listed cottage on the edge of Porterville, you will feel all worries and troubles melt away. The stable will entice guests looking for the perfect hideaway and has been renovated to offer a lot of space in a country setting. It is a 145 square meter, two bedroom cottage with a shower / toilet facility and comfortably sleeps two couples. Guests can relax away from a big city, but also enjoy the small town atmosphere & events within minutes’ drive or walk, if desired. |
